Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication

Headquarters of the PBS affiliate KAET, the Cronkite School expanded into downtown Phoenix after they received independent school status in 2008. In an immersive learning environment, Cronkite students establish themselves as reporters, videographers, photographers, journalists, producers, and other media stewards. The Cronkite School is home to the national headquarters of the News21 Initiative, Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism, Knight Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship, and the National Center on Disability and Journalism. Recently, the school has made many of its undergraduate and graduate programs available to online students as well, helping to drive interest in core journalism and media activities. Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions

Offering bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees, the College of Public Service and Community Solutions focuses on higher education to improve public programs that affect our communities.
